H.O.W? (helping orphans and widows)
At HOW? Jewelry we passionately believe that one by one we can each make a difference in our world and we have committed our work to doing just that. We come alongside women and invest in their lives by creating job opportunities, raising awareness and helping to unite women in Africa with women in North America.
HOW? Jewelry is handmade in Africa by women who are striving to break the cycle of poverty. Many of them are widowed and live with HIV/AIDS or are caring for orphaned children. We purchase the jewelry from the women at fair market value and then we sell it in North America. A portion of all profits are re-invested into improving the lives of women and children living in poverty.
Each piece of jewelry purchased is helping to feed and clothe a child. Each piece of jewelry purchased may help to provide income for medical care, or each piece of jewelry purchased may be providing an education for a child.
What we know for sure is: Each piece of jewelry purchased is empowering a woman to believe in herself and give her hope for a better future for her and her family. By empowering these women we are able to save children and by Empowering Women and Saving Children we can begin to Fight Poverty.
Get Involved and help us Give Backl! Purchase a piece of jewelry or host HOW? Jewelry Home Party. Not only are you able to wear a beautiful piece of jewelry but your involvement will make a difference. A portion of all profits are re-invested into the lives of women and children living in poverty.

Keziah Murugi; HOW? Jewelry Kenya Coordinator
Keziah has a huge heart for encouraging and helping women in need; in 2004 she had to leave school to care for her mother who eventually lost her own battle to HIV/AIDS. Since then she has been committed to continuing her education, she currently holds a certificate in HIV/AIDS Management and Computer and is currently working on a degree in Accounting. Keziah is true gift to HOW? Jewelry, she not only purchases materials at market and teaches the ladies how to make the jewelry, she also provides much needed emotional support. She meets with the women for prayer and because most of our women are HIV + she is also able to help teach them about diet, vitamins and medical care associated with HIV/AIDS.
